Audiences are invited into an unsettling world with Harm, a gripping one-woman play by acclaimed British playwright Phoebe Eclair-Powell. This suspenseful razor-sharp comedy stars Kelli Ogmundson (TV's Animal Control, Family Law, Cavendish) in a powerful solo performance under the direction of Jennifer Copping.
Harm follows an unhappy estate agent whose life takes a startling turn after she sells a home to Alice, a charismatic social media influencer. What starts as an unlikely friendship quickly spirals into fixation, and when her obsession with Alice’s seemingly perfect world intensifies, the lines between digital fantasy and real life become dangerously blurred. Harm is a thrilling, twisted tale on the corrosive effects of social media and isolation.
“Phoebe Eclair-Powell's razor-sharp monologue about social media toxicity and trolling... Tense, heady and full of savage laughter, it is intoxicating from beginning to end. Eclair-Powell's script glints and her barbed wit stings... Harm might be small in scale but it is magnificent in effect.” – The Guardian
“This cracking new piece by rising talent Phoebe Eclair-Powell [is] just as effective at summoning entire worlds as any epic musical or drama.” – The Telegraph
